The Anytown Youth Leadership Institute addresses societal issues regarding race, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability and economic status. High school students from throughout the Miami Valley participate in a weeklong residential program that provides an opportunity for delegates to live and interact with a diverse group of their peers. The teens create a community based on inclusiveness, respect and understanding that serves as a model to their schools and the greater community. Colleges and workplaces are increasingly seeking individuals who can succeed in culturally diverse settings. Anytown helps prepare students to enter diverse environments and to excel and assume in these environments.
