MASTERPIECE ART APPRECIATION PROGRAM
2007 - 2008
The Masterpiece Art Appreciation Program is a national program dedicated to promoting art appreciation. Classroom volunteers provide reproductions of masterworks to encourage discussion and stimulate a child’s interest in exploring art.
Our program includes first through fifth grades. There will be approximately five presentations in each classroom. The presentations will be once a month beginning in November/December followed by January, February, March and April.
Our goal is to make art interesting and FUN. We are teaching children to read art and hopefully building patrons for the future.
