Military Families

Bellbrook is lucky enough to have many military families in our community! Currently at Stephen Bell, we have approximately 30 military families.  Please check out the resources & services below:

Monthly Morning Meeting & New Student Groups: For students in 1st grade, New Student groups are offered by Mrs. Knipfer, counselor, at the beginning of the school year and last approximately 4 weeks. During this time, students new to Stephen Bell are able to talk about their experiences with transitioning to a new state, new home, and/or new school district. At the same time, Mrs. Knipfer visits the 2nd grade class at their Morning Meeting. Although the grade level meets weekly, Mrs. Knipfer visits once each month for a special visit with these 2nd grade leaders!

Military Kids Group: Once a month, our special military kiddos will be invited to have lunch with Mrs. Knipfer by grade level. Our military students will be able to chat with friends who also have parents that serve in the military. They will be able to connect to others who share similar experiences while engaging in discussions and fun activities.

Ongoing Support: As families deal with deployments and relocations, Stephen Bell staff is always there to support our students! Please reach out to Mrs. Knipfer at if there are specific needs we can assist with.
