     About us... 
    The Golden Eagles have been an active member of the Southwestern Buckeye League since 1975, and maintain a proud tradition in both academics and athletics. Academically, the school is rated as a "School of Excellence" by the Ohio Department of Education and offers over 140 academic courses including 15 AP classes. The athletic department offers 24 Varsity sports (13 girls/11 boys), and 28 Jr. Varsity/Freshman sports (15 girls/13 boys) combined.
  •    Highlights from the Eagle’s Nest~~Girls Cross Country
    The Girl’s Cross Country team had the largest number of runners yet, under head coach Jeanne Johnson with a total of 38 girls. The team was led by seniors Keely Dryden, captain Maddie Crane, captain Sierra Hessinger, captain Bekah Both, Hannah Edwards, Isla Harrop, Lexi Filburn, Sarah Malas, captain Jessie Shenk, and Lauren Redfern. The team won the SWBL championship for the second year in a row, and was led by freshman Avarie Faulkner who finished third overall. Juniors Elise Kemper, Minami Ford, Cara Fine, and Freshman Emily Pelfrey also finished in the top ten to earn first team honors. The team defended their District Championship from a year ago and the win qualified them for the Regional Meet hosted in Troy. The team placed third at Regionals to qualify for the Division II State Meet for the second year in a row. The top 7 composed of Juniors Cara  Fine, captain Elise Kemper, Minami Ford, and Amira Faulkner, along with Sophomore Kayla Paul and Freshmen Avarie Faulkner and Emily Pelfrey finished 12th at State. The Golden Eagles will be returning everyone from the state team for the 2018 season. Congrats ladies on a great season and best of luck next year!
