Today Governor Dewine announced a stay at home order effective 11:59 PM on Monday. One exception to his order is the distribution of food by schools. We started distributing food on Friday and it will continue tomorrow. Details for distribution are outlined below.
Monday, we are back to our remote learning as we finish our last week before spring break. Remote learning will not take place during spring break. Thank you again for the work that you are doing as parents/guardians in supporting the learning of your child.
Friday was the first day of our food program. We had about 90 meals distributed. We will continue distribution on Monday March 23.
ALL children in the Bellbrook-Sugarcreek area are eligible including preschool children attending other schools, including homeschool.
Meals can be picked up at Stephen Bell Elementary at door C on North Linda Drive between 10-12pm on weekdays.
Children do not need to be in the car.
Because we must verify each student, please help us ensure a more timely distribution by writing your child’s first and last name on a piece of paper and putting that paper in your car window or holding it if you are walking.
If families want to help other families by picking up meals for others or if someone is picking up a large order for their neighborhood, we ask them to email Jennifer Hoehn the names of the children the day before.at [email protected]. We will try to have the meals ready for pick up if given an estimated time of arrival.
Reminder to either unlock the door or trunk for our workers to place the meals safely.
Thank you for all of the kindness and patience we have experienced by our community members coming to pick up meals. This is just another reason why #ilovebellbrookschools.
