District Scores Five Stars in Four Categories on ODE Report Card

The Ohio Department of Education released its annual rankings on September 15 and Bellbrook scored well, collecting five stars (out of five) in four of the scored categories, while it was awarded four in another.

We are pleased to share with you the results of the District Report Card, as reported by the Ohio Department of Education. 

This year’s report card is a little different, being rated by stars, five being the highest. That being said, of the five categories our district was rated on, we received five stars in four of those categories and four stars in the other. 

I have seen the teachers and staff in this district pour their heart and soul into their classrooms and buildings on a daily basis to make sure their students are learning the materials being taught to them. The words simply do not exist to explain to you how proud I am. To say this staff goes above and beyond is an understatement and cannot do justice to the amount of work they put in. 


We also want to thank all of you for taking an active role in your student’s education. Your support at home to make sure your students complete assignments and stay on task only makes our educational system that much stronger. Thank you!

While this report card contains a lot of good information on the many things that are going well, there is always room for improvement. We are digesting this report, as well as the results of the MAP tests and our own internal assessments to make sure we are meeting the students where they are, giving them the help that they need in order to reach their full potential. There is always room for growth, and at Bellbrook Schools we want to be better today than yesterday; and better tomorrow than today.
