Our calendar is accessible both here and on the cadet's Corps Google Classroom page. It will be updated regularly with our upcoming events, including weekly after-school club meetings, the Air Force Marathon, our canned food drives, winter formal, military ball, and other corps-wide activities.

Events:

Mandatory Attendance:

  • For 2025-2026 School Year - specific dates/times will be placed on calendar once known.

    • Sugar Maple Festival Parade (April 2026)

    • AFJROTC Awards Ceremony, Thursday, 7 May 2026, 1900

Activities:

Optional Attendance: (see calendar or Google Classroom for details...some will count for community service hours)

  • Color Guard - AFJROTC presents our Nation’s colors at many events at Bellbrook High School and the community. Color Guard practice provides extra practice in drill for cadets that may need a little more training. Cadets also learn to present the colors (flags) properly and how to handle the rifle. If a cadet is absent from class on drill day, they can make up the participation credit by attending a Color Guard.

  • Raider's Practice - Competition team that will compete in events in the fall. Cadets will participate in physical fitness activities and practice for team events that may occur in Raider's meets. If a cadet is absent from class on physical fitness day, they can make up the participation credit by attending a Raider's practice.

  • Fitness Club - Provides an additional opportunity for cadets to participate in health and wellness activities in addition to the weekly physical fitness training. Raider's team members are highly encouraged to also attend fitness club. If a cadet is absent from class on physical fitness day, they can make up the participation credit by attending a fitness club.

  • Drill Team - Competition team that will compete at events in the spring. Cadets who wish to be selected for one of the teams (Color Guard, Inspection or Individual Drill Requirement) will need to attend practice regularly. If a cadet is absent from class on drill day, they can make up the participation credit by attending a Drill Team practice.

  • Community Service - all activities will be placed on the calendar once known. These are optional, but all cadets must complete a minimum of 3 hours per quarter.

  • Cadet Fun Events - Cadet leadership will plan various events throughout the school year for cadets to have fun and get to know one another.
