It was a truly inspiring – albeit spooky – night at the Great Pumpkin Auction at Bell Creek Intermediate Wednesday night. The auction, in its fifth year, raised nearly $13,000 for A Special Wish Dayton. 

Two inducted into BSS Hall of Fame


The Bellbrook-Sugarcreek School District inducted two new members into its Hall of Fame on Friday morning, welcoming 1969 graduate Belynda “Bo” Frieden and long-time soccer coach Charlie Luse. 

Frieden, a bus driver and community leader in performing arts, is completing her 50th year of service with the district. 


Luse, who began his coaching career in 1985 as an assistant coach, amassed 200+ career wins and made numerous contributions to Bellbrook Athletics. He still serves as assistant athletic director.

District Scores Five Stars in Four Categories on ODE Report Card
The Ohio Department of Education released its annual rankings on September 15 and Bellbrook scored well, collecting five stars (out of five) in four of the scored categories, while it was awarded four in another.
