Wizards Coming Back for Another Showdown

The Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Education Foundation raised just over $15K by when the teachers took on the Harlem Wizards on April 29.
And the Wizards are coming back for another shot. You can get tickets right here for the Wizards here:
Click here to buy. As of October 21, there are only about 28 courtside seats remaining, but a good selection of general admission are available.
The November 10 date won't interfere with any tournament soccer, volleyball or football games, either, as of the current published schedules.
All the money raised from tickets, concessions, and even merchandise goes right back into the district in the form of grants for classrooms, as well as the Hall of Fame.
The great result last time -- and the reason the Wizards are back so soon -- is due in no small part to everyone who volunteered and gave of their time to put on an excellent SOLD OUT event. More than 1,000 people paid and packed the stands for an absolutely electric event!
“Having those guys come in and put on such an impressive show was great,” Business Manager and BSEF Secretary Jeff Eckley said. “I was expecting a good time, but it was so much more than that.
“Seeing the community come out and support the BSEF by buying tickets, which goes right back into the classroom in the form of grants for students — and to see our school community step up to volunteer the way they did was really, really great to see.”
From the players to the ticket takers, from the concession stand workers to the ushers, to those selling swag and everyone else who aided in being of service to their community in an effort to make sure our students get the best possible education, there were 84 parents, teachers, staff, and community members who gave their time to make it an unforgettable event.
“It was a super fun event,” Superintendent “Dr. Dunk” Doug Cozad said. “Being able to be on the floor and play with those guys was pretty incredible, but even being able to watch them from the sidelines and seeing all the games the kids got to play was just as entertaining. We are really thankful to them and all our volunteers from the community.”
