Winter Guard finishes 11th in World Championships

The Bellbrook High School Winter Guard brought home 11th place during the WGI World Championship World Class Finals in the Scholastic World Division at the University of Dayton Arena on Saturday. 

During Friday's competition, the team made it through the opening round and into the semifinals. Friday night the team qualified for finals and on Saturday they competed at 6:10 p.m.

High School music teacher Barb Siler said it was the best performance of the year. 

The team scored an impressive 85.250 in the finals, finishing as the top school in the area in their division. Avon High School was the overall winner.

On Friday, Bellbrook scored an 85.1 in the semifinals.

The Indoor Percussion Ensemble also qualified for the WGI World Championships and scored an 82.250 at Truist Arena in Highland Heights, Kentucky on Thursday. The BHS IPE competed in the Percussion Scholastic A division of the competition. 

Color Guard Auditions
Auditions for the 2024 High School Color Guard will be 6 to 9 p.m. April 29 to May 1 in the Main HS Gym. NO experience is required! You have until April 26th to sign up through Final Forms.
