Article: Summer Meal Prep PSA

Summer Meal Prep PSA

Posted Monday, May 18, 2020

Our Stephen Bell meal site for picking up meals will end on the last day of school, which is May 21st.  We will continue to provide meals until June 30th, however we will be changing our operations to a more limited serving procedure.

We will have 3 available sites for those families with children 18 and under that currently receive free and reduced meals and for those families that are experiencing a need for school breakfast and lunch due to changes in income due to Covid-19.  You can choose the location that is closest to your home.

We will be adding Sugarcreek Elementary parking lot for families that live in the surrounding areas that need meals. We will be there between the hours of 10am and 11am on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning on Thursday, May 28th.  Please look for our school van in the parking lot.    You will receive meals on Thursday for Thursday, Friday, and Monday.  On Tuesdays, you will receive meals for Tuesday and Wednesday.  We will then continue this schedule through June.

We will continue to deliver meals at Cedar Trail and Bayberry Cove apartments and surrounding areas that need meals.  We will be at Cedar Trail from 12:15pm-12:45pm and Bayberry Cove from 1pm-1:45pm beginning Thursday, May 28th.  You can find us in the parking lot in Cedar trail in front of building 1862 Surrey Trail.  We will be located at Bayberry Cove in front of the leasing office. We will be in school vans.  In the meantime, we will continue service to you until we transition.  You will receive 2 days of meals on Thursday May 21st, which will include meals for Thursday and Friday.

We will continue to deliver to you Tuesday May 26 and Wednesday May 27th.  On May 28th, you will then receive meals for Thursday, Friday, and Monday.  On Tuesday of the following week, you will receive meals for Tuesday and Wednesday.

If you are a family that does not live in Cedar Trail or Bayberry Cove and are experiencing financial hardship and need meals during our time of transition, please email Jennifer Hoehn at [email protected] to arrange for you to pick up meals during this time at either Bayberry Cove or Cedar Trail at their normal delivery times during the transition.
