Welcome to the Bellbrook-Sugarcreek PTO
The Sugarcreek Parent Teacher Organization is a volunteer organization that maintains a close working relationship between parents, teachers/staff and students. It is our goal to enhance the educational experience by supporting the students and teaching staff through fundraising efforts to provide additional equipment, technology, educational resources, educational services and special projects. A strong PTO is evidence of parental interest/support and does ensure a better school environment for our students. Meetings are held on the 2nd TUESDAY of every month.
Welcome PTO Members
Did you know that by simply having your student in the Bellbrook-Sugarcreek School System you are already a member of the PTO? As a parent in this educational community, we share a common goal with our teachers - to ensure our students have the best, most effective and fun learning environment possible.
You Can Make a Difference - How Can You get INVOLVED and Support the PTO?
Volunteering and participating in the various fundraisers throughout the school year! Helping to support the Direct Donation Campaigns alone directly impact YOUR STUDENT. Every bit of supports counts and helps our PTO purchase needed technology, educational materials, classroom supplies, field trips and more which have been reduced and/or eliminated due to budget cuts! All profits go to benefit our students and our award-winning school district. The success of the Direct Donation Campaign -- soon to be Fill the Nest -- can significantly reduce the number of small fundraising activities throughout the school year. So, jump on board and let’s strive for 100% participation!!!
Meeting Dates/Times
Our meetings this year will continue to be the second Tuesday of every month (except December) at 7 p.m.
Meeting Dates:
Sept. 10, 2024; Oct. 8, 2024; Nov. 12, 2024; Jan. 14, 2025; Feb. 11, 2025; March 11, 2025; April 8, 2025; May 13, 2025
Stock the Break Room events for all schools take place in the fall, as well as a Teacher Appreciation Luncheon for all schools in the spring.
Ultimately, the goal is to form PTO committees at each school. This would allow for more fundraising opportunities. Currently, the executive board and the building reps do all of the behind-the-scenes work for all school events and fundraising. Most of us have either a part-time or full-time job, so we can only commit to a certain number of volunteer hours. We wish we could do more, so we are hoping the expansion of the PTO will help considerably.
As always, we truly enjoy volunteering for such an amazing school district! Please feel free to reach out to us at any time. We are looking forward to a great school year!
