Music Boosters

What are "Music Boosters"?

The Bellbrook Music Boosters is the parent-volunteer organization that supports all aspects of music programming for the Bellbrook-Sugarcreek School district by providing the financial and physical support to all music and color guard programs so they can perform and compete on a local, regional and national stages.  The Boosters are involved in nearly every aspect of the music programs. 

The Music Boosters support all music programs (Marching Band, Concert Bands, Pep Band, Winter Guards,Indoor Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Choir) and are made up of a Board, Trustees, and Parents/Boosters, all whom which work together to provide the following:

*Chaperones for Marching Band, Indoor Percussion, and Winter Guards
*Marching Band Camp support
*Food Committee for Marching Band and Football games
*Prop Build and Logistics for Marching Band, Indoor Percussion, and Winter Guards
*Uniforms for Marching Band, Winter Guard, Indoor Percussion
*Tuxedos and formal gowns/dressesfor all High School Band and Choir Concerts
*Fundraisers: Flower Sales, Scrip, Dragons/UD Concessions, Fall Marching Band & Winter Guard/Indoor Percussion Invitationals, Euchre Party, Community Tag Day Event
*Scholarship Program for Marching Band, Winter Guard, and Indoor Percussion programs

As you might imagine, we are a very busy group of volunteers who LOVE to have fun. We are passionate about music education and we value the opportunity to be a part of what we consider to be one of the very best music programs around!

Being involved in the Band Boosters has definite perks. You will learn what’shappening in your student’s music world (not to mention their social life), see what goes on behind the scenes of our award-winning programs, and make lasting friendships.

The success of Bellbrook’s music programming is directly proportional to the level of parent involvement and so we encourage every family to get involved by…

taking part in planning and decision making by attending Booster meetings that are typically held the first Monday of the month at 7:15pm in the high school library.

participating in fundraisers with other families and local businesses. The Boosters provide financial support that helps our music programming continue to be one of the best in the nation!

chaperoning—a great way to see our music students in action while making friends with parents who share a love for kids and keeping them safe.

being involved on a committee or with a team where you can use your specific talents or find new talents you never knew you had.

having FUN attending competitions, performances, and more all while supporting the BEST kids around!
